What I've been up too lately

What to say, after a long absence. I guess blogger isn't so fun anymore like it used to be. At least for me😊. I mean there is a lot to write on here and you just need to have inspiration or any words to write. I really am lazy in that matter and I just hadn't had time to write on here or any inspiration for that matter. But I needed a distraction from homework sooooo........

Let's say 2020 isn't our year. It sure isn't my year. First we got corona (horrible virus that isn't going away for some time), my school got closed (which isn't really bad but school is fun and sitting at home all the time just gets boring for me), internship didn't continue and particulary everything closed due to corona. So there you have that.

We lost Chadwick Boseman😭. A true legend never forgotten. I mean, the world is just so unfair. He had been diagnosted with colon cancer and kept if for so long a secret. Nobody knew. A LEGEND.

He gave us black panther, he did so many things for other people while fighting colon cancer, he gave us meaning and he was adored and still is. He's a sweetheart, with a big, golden heart, who was always nice to everyone and now he's gone.....

Alright enough bad things. Let's move to the better things.

Just one more year of school and I get my diploma. I'm super excited to finish.

I have found a new internship because we needed to search for one. They gladly took me in even though there is corona. I have an immensely good time there and I learn a lot. And the people there are just great.

We still got no school. In November we can go to school again, but just two days. The rest we get to work home. Which isn't that bad.

Watched tons of series and movies cause the free time since corona. Here are some.

Enola Holmes (A MUST SEE ONE, gonna make a review about this one soon)

Poldark (been rewatching it again since last week)

Robin Hood (also a rewatch but I finished)

Peaky Blinders (still need to continue this one)

The King (cause of Timothee Chamalet, but it was really gruesome)

Howl's Moving Castle (very fun but sometimes I really didn't understand it)

Pride and Prejudice (again and it's still beautiful !!!)

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (still a good movie and watched it with the whole family)

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (FEEL GOOD MOVIE, MUST SEE MOVIE)

Reign (rewatched this one again)

I Capture the Castle (Henry Cavill everyone ! But the whole movie was weird and not my favorite)

Letter to Juliet (again a rewatch)

The Bounty Hunter (funny movie but not my favorite)

Kikki's Delivery Service (loved this one)

San Andreas (disaster movie and not so fun)

Walk. Ride.  Rodeao (such a fun horse movie)

Cursed (such a fun serie buit kinda gruesome)

And loads more but not gonna name all. I might do a blog post on that.

Suddenly me head is empty😂.....

I think I'm gonna end this short post. I hope I will be active more on here but no promises !

ALSO !!! Christmas is coming soon !!

  1. RACHEL!!! It made me so happy to see a post from you! I had wondered how you were! I'm sorry that you are not able to go to school or your old internship. Your new internship sounds fun! I was so sad to hear about Chadwick Boseman! He will be missed a lot.

I've watched a lot of things, too. Since I have read you talk about Poldark so much, I finally watched the whole series! I'm glad that I did. Hope to see some more posts from you, dear!

  2. Glad you rewatched Poldark! I still love the new series more than the older version, if you read the books, you will see that the new series follow more closely the books than the old series did.
Also, if you are curious and would like to read some great trivia about the new Poldark, I recommend you read trivia here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3636060/trivia

    Have a great day!

P.S. A great series to watch now is the new version of "All Creatures Great and Small" (2020). I enjoyed it so much! And this Christmas there will even be a special!
