Review Days 2: How to Train Your Dragon

I'm back again!

Today I'm gonna do a review about the 2 films of How to Train Your Dragon.
It's been a while since....wait...I watch How to Train Your Dragon 2 just one day ago.

I could do to apart reviews of both films, but decided to do them together, that would be more funner. And easier. So, let me continue.
It's easier to start with the first film. It has been a while since I first watched that one.
My family and I started watching it after my best friend said it was fantastic. We had seen a lot of disney movies and we though, why not this one. :) But we didn't watch the entire film. We didn't like it so much at that time and sadly we closed it. :( So, I went watching it on my own because I really wanted to know how it went.

IT WAS SUPERB!

I'm not a girl who loves Vikings and dragons so much, but this film (using this word instead of movie, cause it sounds better) was SO GOOD!! I enjoyed it and thought at myself: We have to watch this together. And we did, a few months later after I watched it. My brothers, sisters and I watched it in my sisters room. WE ALL LOVED IT!!
 DRAGONS ARE COOL......

If you don't know what's the film or never heard of it, here's the main story so you have a clue.

A young Viking (named Hiccup) who asprises to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures then he assumed.

There, now you know. It's a mouth full. :)
The main character himself, Hiccup. I think he's really cute and he has a lovely voice.
The way he acts around dragons is really amazing. And the fact that he couldn't kill a dragon and made a difference of the other Vikings is really special. How he contects with dragons.
In film 2 he growned up to a young man and everyone in his village is friends with dragons. He still has his own dragon who he saved in the first film, named Toothless.

Of course there is a girl involved.πŸ™Š There mostly is. Astrid is her name. We see in film 1 Hiccup has a crush on her almost his whole life and he first tries to get her attention, but nothing works, cause she's not interested in him. She focusing to become a dragon warrior.
They do get together at the end. I must say it isn't so romantic, like swooming or whatsoever. That's cool you know, I love their relationship and how they act together. Although you don't see them together all the time in film 2, they do spend time together.
there cute, aren't they? (How to Train Your Dragon 2)

There are other characters but I'm not going to write about them, others this review will be too long and that's quite boring.

The person I will be mentioning is Hiccup's dad, cause he's an important character in the films.
Stoick (that's his name) isn't glad with his son and does everything to change Hiccup, but he won't listen and makes mostly of the time a mess with everything. Stoick lost his leg during a fight with dragons and since that, dragons are his enemy and that's how it all started. Dragons became enemies instead of friends. But eventually Stoick sees that dragons are actually kind creatures and they mean no harm, they just want to protect themselves.

But in film 2 things get wrong. This is as spoiler if you haven't seen 2 yet. Stoick dies while rescuing his only son. I really was suprised when he died. I was like......waaiitt what?😯 I didn't expected that. IT WAS SO SAD! I almost cried, but I didn't.

I think why this films are so fun is that the ends don't always have an happy ending. They do, but during the film things happen which keep suprising me.

WE SEE HICCUP'S MOM!!! in film 2!
She's so sweet and I loved that they put her in the film, that she was actually alive after all these years Hiccup thought she was dead, taken by dragons. She was taken by dragons, but she stayed away to save Hiccup and his dad. Through those years, she took care of the other dragons.
Well, nothing to say anymore.

Aren't dragons the cutest?!

I really love the fact that in these films the dragons aren't mean, but sweet and innocent. My favourite dragon is Toothless, but that's obviously, cause you see him a lot. He and Hiccup are the best and they have such a connections that's really special.

I hated the fact that in film 2 there was a mean man who controlled a big black dragon who looked like a gigantic spider + elephant. That man tried to steal all the dragons from the good dragon (who looks the same like the other dragon but only white) and then control the land or something. Everyone called both an alfa of the dragons.
So then the big bad alfa defeated the big good alfa and has the power over all the dragons.
And then Hiccup's dad dies, but they won't give up yet. Finally at the end everything is well.
Toothless is the alfa of the dragons and Hiccup is the new chief.
I love how good they animated everything! The scenery and houses are simply beautiful. The dragons are wow and the people are pretty, even the ugly onces.
*sorry, I shouldn't have said that, everyone is beautiful in there own ways*
It must have been a LOT of work creating a simple film. Good job directors!
I guess again we have comed to an end. It was quite hard reviewing two films, so the next time I will just be reviewing one and then the other one if there are two parts of the film.

AND, before we close up todays review, there is coming a How to Train Your Dragon 3 in 2019!!

Do you like How to Train Your Dragon? Who's your favourite character?

Review Days 1: Beauty and the Beast (2017)

such a gorgeous edit
This one I just watched a few days ago with my beautiful family.
When the trailer got out, I was so excited to see this, but I had to wait quite a long time before I actually could see it. I was waiting forever. BUT now I've watched it. I actually first watched it on my own, cause we weren't in the whole disney magic fase. :) So basically this is the second time I've watched it. :D
So when the announced the film and when the trailer got there, there where popping up pictures of the cast and the film and I got more excited. Why do they do that always?

AND THEN I GOT TO WATCH IT!!!

IT WAS SPLENDID, JUST SPLENDID.

I loved it a LOT. Such a delight to watch such movies.Maybe even more delightful then Cinderella (2015).

\My experience of the movie//

> I felt I was there
> It drove me to different place
> Belle's just beautiful
> Even beasts can be kind...even though it doesn't look like that
> WHITE horses are magical
> Snow can't come any faster in my country, I need snow
> Castles are FANTASTIC
> Why are there so mean people on the earth?
> Matthew Crawley plays in it..... :D
> Animated things are delightful and funny
> A spell can be horrible
> Even bad people can change into good people
Finally, a prefect film (cause I like this word more than movie) to watch.

The story (just in case you forgot)

Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman is taken prisoner by a beast in a castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast hideous appearence and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Isn't that compelling?πŸ˜ƒ

AREN'T THEY THE CUTEST?

The beast looks kinda weird, but the outside doesn't matter, it's the inside that matters the most.
Imagine falling in love with a beast.πŸ˜‚ That sounds silly, doesn't it? Why am I saying this?
First of all, the chemistry between Dan and Emma is amazing, not a lot of actors have that. You can see it right when they work together.
The directors did an amazing job choosing the cast. I read on internet that there where many people who thought Emma Watson wasn't the perfect Belle, but come on! She did an splendid job and she's so sweet. I didn't liked her first, but that's just because I didn't know her well.

Emma Watson is beautiful as Belle. I first didn't like her as Belle, but come on!!! I'M STUPID.
She has this perfect innocent and fierce role as Belle. And her voice is so soft and beautiful.
There are a lot of people who said Emma lacked as her role as Belle, but I don't believe that. She simply amazing. No other actress could pull that off like Emma did. I must say she not perfect, but no one is perfect, we all have our mistakes and not-perfect things. THERE is no one who's perfect, even though people do say that.
Anyway, let's continue, before I go further on the topic and forget that I'm doing a review about Beauty and the Beast. :)

Dan is a brilliant beast. I loved his singing voice, it's was very deep, yet magical. Look at me fangirling *laughs* I must say I'm not a big fan of Dan Stevens. He's an great actor and plays his roles amazing, but not my fav. I loved the backstory of the Beast, how he was really angry and ungrateful. Not that that is fun, but you get me. And the fairy comes in and puts a spell on him and his servants and they are doomed forever untill the Prince can find love again. And that's kinda hard if you're turned into a Beast. And the castle is covered with snow for eternity.
Ahh, let's talk about the staff, who's been enchanted with the Prince. It's sad though, because of the stupidity of the Prince they got into this whole mess of him. But I've never seen such sweet and devoted staff. I love the voice of Emma Thompson, who plays the teapot, so sweet and soft. But all of their voices are great. Lumiere's was the funniest. Mrs Pott's little boy is sweet too. And they were all so lovely against Belle.
I loved seeing them turning in humans again, I didn't expect it quite.

YIKES! Gaston. I hated him already the first time I saw him. So full of himself. 😟
I liked LeFou. Gaston treated him very badly and was glad he (although it's almost at the end) turned against Gaston and helped the Beast's servants. πŸ‘
That's all I have to say about those twoπŸ˜‚

The scenery was simply gorgeous!!! I loved the snow at the castle and inside the castle.
What I loved the most about the castle was the hugh library. JUST WOOWW!!! I would love to be there one day, even though it's animated. :)
All the details in the castle, the lights, candles and even the GOLD was splendid.
Mostly everything was animated, because it's kinda hard to find real place where you can film. But some things are real, like the books Belle is holding.

I love all the cast their accentsπŸ˜ƒ It's just scrumptious.

The scenes where sweet, especially the moments between the Belle and the Beast.
The film has a touch of drama, romantic and funny moments in it. I love how it's isn't all about romance, there is action in it too. I must say I ABSOLUTELY love that in films.
And when the Beast sets Belle free.....awwwww...so sweet of him. And she came back! Then the beast dies cause horibble Gaston shoots him, just awful. But I'm happy the Beast turns into a good prince again, the spells is broken and everyone returns human again. And they lived all happily ever after.

You know when Belle enters the castle and the animated characters start to talk, imagine if it was you. I would just run out of the castle, leaving my father there! πŸ˜‚ I don't know what I would do actually, but I would be scared....

The famous dress. I was waiting for the dance scene where Belle appeard in a beautiful dress. I was quite dissapointed, cause I don't like the dress so much. And it's isn't because it's YELLOW, it can be a gorgeous colour. But because the shape and the model of the dress. It could be done better, BUT besides that, it's a gorgeous dress, I really love the little golden details in the dress. :)

Ahh, the dance scene is so cute and beautiful. I LOVED THE BALLROOM!!!! It was so beautiful decorated and Belle and the Beast shined so bright together. To tigh the knot, Mrs Pott was singing!!!!
Doesn't Emma Thompson has a lovely voice?!
This is a dress I liked more than the ball gown Belle worn. This is her second/wedding gown and it's quite splendid. I don't know if it's really a wedding gown, but let us just say it is. :) A whole WOW in one word. This dress is simply beautiful, with all those flowers and this simple white.
Told you they are the cutest!!!!
Well, I quess this is the end. I have pointed out my opinion about this film and a bit of everything.
Thank you all for reading this and there is more to come!! <3
This interview, it's so cute!
Do you guys wanna see a special review on my blog? I would love to hear which films you wanna see on here. :D

Goodbye September, Hello Oktober

The days and weeks fly away so fast! It's already Oktober, the month where it's officialy autumn. Maybe not, but for me it is. :)

How are you all doing?

I, myself, am busy with school and intership. It has been not so hectic these past weeks for me. We started very nice and quiet on school. I got homework, but it's not a lot. My classmates and I have exam very soon, so we are preparing for that. It's so stressfull, but we are just hoping to pass and we are going to work very hard for it. :)
I've been walking on a new intership for two weeks now. Because I have to walk on two different interships from my school. So, I did it. And I'm quite enjoying it, although it's sometimes boring. Then there is nothing to do and then we sit down, drink something like tea or coffee and do nothing. But it's okay. And after this intership finished, in the Christmas hollidays, I go back to my old one. :)

Now I'm out of my words. Got nothing to say. I think it's very hard typing long blog posts, because there isn't so many to type. But I quess no one reads my very long weirdness posts. But that's okay, because I type what I feel and do. I type for my pleasure, I created this blog almost two years now to share my thoughts about anything with those internet people. And I don't care if they don't see it or not even commenting. But if they do, I'm happy and response back to their comments or views.
It's not about the amount of followers or viewers, it's about you having fun creating and sharing things on your blog.

Alright, enough with this sentimental talking. I will stop. :D

Did you all know there is going to be a Downton Abbey movie?! I couldn't believe it myself, so I went googling and yes...it's true. Eeek, I'm really excited for it. There are even new characters involved in it. Can you believe it?

Going to make a new header soon!
Well, this was all for now.
Have a lovely day and have fun!!

Little House on the Prairie//facts

Here are some facts about the show you might not now...because my family and I started watching the series again.

1. Michael Landon is actually Jewish

He is, but I don't know if he kept his religion.

2. Actual family ties

Jonathan and Melissa Gilbert (played Willie Olsen and Laura Ingalls) are actually brother and sister in real life. They both got adopted by the same parents.

3. Mary Ingalls and Laura Ingalls weren't bffs

Melissa Anderson and Melissa Gilbert didn't quite get along when they where young. The tension between the two grow so immense, that it remained for the entire duration of the show.

4. Ma had to change her name

The actress, known as Karen Grassle, who played Caroline Ingalls, was using the stage name Gabriel Tree. But Michael Landon and the producers didn't liked the name, so they asked if she could use her own name again. She agreed.

5. Nellie wore a wig
Alison Arngrim (who played Nellie) had to wear a wig during the show. She had blonde hair, but it was so thin, that the curls didn't stay long in her hair. The wig however caused scalp bleeding because it was so tightly attached to her head.

6. The Ingalls ate well

When the family was shown dining on stew cooked up by Ma, they were actually chowing down on Dinty Moore beef stew, regardless of whether it was meant to be rabbit, squirrel, or other prairie meat fare. For their lunch tins, on the other hand, the girls were given KFC chicken wings.

7. Fashion led to fainting
While filming the series at the Big Sky Ranch in Simi Valley, CA, temperatures would often rise to triple digits. Which occasionally caused members of the female cast to pass out under their layers of cotton wardrobes and bonnets.

8. Michael Landon was the set's clown
Michael Landon liked to keep things interesting on set, by constantly playing pranks on his co-stars and staff. This guy was pretty fond of messing with everyone, and never left the set without either pulling a prank or making fun of someone.

9. Mean Mary

The oldest of all of the sister on the show, Mary, was portrayed by actress, Melissa Sue Anderson. Unfortunately, she never joined in on the close relationships formed between castmates. Some of her castmates even described her as mean, stuck up, or someone that just needed to chill

10. Carrie's fall in the intro was an accident
Three-year-old twins Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush (billed together on the series as Lindsay Sidney Green Bush/Greenbush) alternated playing the role of the youngest Ingalls sister. When the director called for a “fresh twin” while filming the show’s intro, Sidney was woken from her nap to take her turn and her mother accidentally put her shoes on the wrong feet. Michael Landon was charmed by the toddler’s resulting tumble and decided to keep it in.

11. Laura and Nellie are actually besties
The young actresses Alison Arngrim and Melissa Gilbert became almost instant best friends in real life who enjoyed sleepovers and pranking their co-stars.

12. Melissa had issues with Michael
Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert were pretty close on the show. Melissa’s father passed away when she was only 11, so she claimed that Michael acted as a paternal figure that she lost far too early. Well, as the show progressed, so did their feelings for each other. Michael, however, left his wife for Cindy Clerico, who was the makeup artist on the set. She was 20 years younger than him! After the incident, Melissa was so mad at Michael that she distanced herself from him and his family, eventually dropping all forms of contact.

13. Pa liked to go shirtless
Michael Landon’s pride in his physical fitness resulted in loosely buttoned tops or going completely shirtless whenever a scene would allow it, usually only injuring his ribs in farm mishaps rather than breaking a leg or an arm. He also did it quite a lot in Bonanza.

14. Melissa Gilbert wasn't a fan of on-screen kissing
Melissa had her first on-set kiss (and a real one) on Little House on the Prairie. Not only was she inexperienced, but also quite young compared to Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder), making things even more uncomfortable for her. Melissa was only 15 at the time, and Dean was 23.

15. Tall guy
Michael Landon was small compared to other guys. He had the average height of 5'9, so he wore platform boots just too look more taller for his role as Charles Ingalls.

16. Nellie taking other roles
Alison Arngrim autitioned for several parts of the show before finding the role of Nellie Olsen, which suits her perfect. She was originally turned down for the role as Laura Ingalls, as well as Mary Ingalls, which she never got. Eventually she got the role for Nellie Olsen, turning for the 3rd time for auditions.

17. It was a suprise hit in Spain

Shortly after gaining popularty in America, Little House on the Prairie (La Casa de la Pradera) soon became one of Spain's most-watched-series, so much that in 1976, Karen Grassle, known as her role as Caroline Ingalls, was the proud recipient of Spanish television's prestigious TP de Oro award for best foreign actress.

18. You know when it's right
There’s no doubt that the role of Laura Ingalls was probably the most desired one among many girls who auditioned for the show, that’s why its even more flattering to know that Landon, the producer, was so certain that Gilbert was the right match for the role that he didn’t even send any of the other girls who read for the part for the Network to look at.

19. Rather shocking fact

Many of the cast and crew members had some intense addictions, mostly involving substances like drugs and alcohol. Therefore, there was a lot of both on the set. Apparently, the crew managed to finish two cases of Coors beer every day. They even nicknamed the more stressful days, “three-case days” to justify numbing some of the stress that came about while shooting. Landon’s fondness of the bottle was a big problem is such a setting and it sure didn’t help his chances winning the battle to pancreatic cancer, which he later died of.

20. Walnut Grove is real
Walnut Grove is a pretty real place. The real Laura Ingalls Wilder even lived there.

Well, this was all. I kinda like facts, but some aren't real fun. It kinda makes you go and watch the show differently, but it's a lovely show.
